Commitment to Academic Excellence in After School Programs

AEC is committed to academic excellence and our philosophy on education is simple. We believe that any student can succeed if given the necessary materials and guidance to build their confidence and knowledge. We believe that students need dedicated teachers who are continuously learning new strategies and techniques to help our students improve and feel empowered.

Our programs also reflect our philosophy. Our Math program teaches the child how to master math problems with confidence and helps the student build a solid foundation of essential math concepts. Our Reading and Writing programs teach the student how to read more efficiently and build a stronger vocabulary. The Writing program helps the student to think clearly and logically, and to communicate those thoughts onto paper. Both programs are connected and by improving in one area, the student will also improve on the other. Our AP, ACT, PSAT, SAT I and SAT II College Preparation programs offer students a comprehensive solution to college entrance tests preparation that will help raise their scores. These programs will help them to achieve academic success and simultaneously builds their skill in a wide array of subjects. Our Study Skills program teaches faster learning skills for the student of all levels. The program will also help them to achieve academic success and simultaneously give them a positive attitude for their academic future. We will customize a learning program and give your child individual attention and encouragement. The use of study and learning techniques will make learning a more active and easier process. Our Character Training program teaches students the importance of building good character. Topics in this program include, but not limited to being respectful, being responsible, and being diligent.

Our Staff The teachers at AEC are highly trained, certified and/or meet state teaching requirements. At AEC, your child's progress is monitored regularly in a learning environment. In addition, AEC teachers meet with parents to discuss the students' academic achievements.   Our teachers and staff can make a difference! Both are highly motivated, educated, and patient and will help guide the students toward mastering the skills and knowledge needed for success. AEC helps students catch up and get ahead in a positive attitude that encourages growth and inspires learning.
