Position: English Teachers
or Tutors Responsibilities: - English teachers will be responsible for
conducting instruction in a middle school or high school classroom. Teachers will be instructing on all major language art
areas, including but not exclusive to: grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary
- English teachers must provide individual and/or small group tutoring
to the students by use of lesson plans and assist students in improving their scores by monitoring their performance in the
classroom and any other assignments. Some lesson planning may be required.
Qualifications: · Applicant must be able to teach middle school to high school English
subjects and topic. · Applicant must also be a strong writer who is able to help students
become better writers. · Applicant must also be able to teach reading comprehension skills
to middle to high school students. · Knowledge and experience with SAT or AP English is preferred, but
not required ·
Applicant with a teaching
credential or is working on getting a credential is preferred, but not required. All applicants must have strong leadership, organizational, and classroom management
skills. Applicants must also be responsible and able to commit to teaching for a contracted period. Classroom experience is
preferred but not required. Location: Monterey Park or Chinatown Hours: Weekday and/or weekend; hours may vary
depending on the class Salary Level: $15-25;

Position: Marketing Assistant Responsibilities: ·
Assist in developing and driving the Marketing & Promotional Plan of AEC; may include research and evaluation. Implement
marketing strategies to promote courses offered at the center. Prepare reports and analyse setting forth progress, adverse
trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions. · Promote AEC's educational programs through telemarketing, internet,
and face to face communication. · Maintain professional contact with clients,
constantly interacting with and updating them about new promotions and courses. · Develop and maintain a deep and up to date
knowledge of our academic programs. · Assist in developing media advertisement
– produce attractive, informational flyers. Qualifications:
· Knowledge of communication and advertising
principles, media, and marketing strategies and techniques; excellent written and oral communication skills · Applicant must be able to speak Mandarin,
Cantonese, and English · Applicant must know how to use Adobe Photoshop
or Illustrator · Applicant must be responsible, punctual,
have strong communication and computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint) · Marketing and business majors are preferred,
but not required

Position: Office Assistant
Responsibilities: · The
position includes assisting the center director with
customer service, marketing and general office duties. Qualifications: · Applicant must be fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. · Applicant must know how to use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator and have computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel). · Applicant must be responsible, punctual, highly motivated and
willing to learn. · Strong communication and telecommunication skills are required. Location: Monterey Park Hours: Weekday and/or weekend; hours may vary Salary Level: $8.50 - $10/hour; commensurate
